Seersucker

I know it's not just me who's had a seersucker dress as a child. Or shorts, or skirt, or whatever... What's with seersucker and children anyways?

Jessica jacket (Sears),  Tristan tank,  necklace (Loehmanns, old),
BR jeans, Giudit belt (Winners), Gap flats

Last Friday, on my walk home, I thought I'd go check out the Sears store nearby that's closing soon, in October, I think. I just got curious, that's all, as to what kind of deals can be had. I did end up getting some towels. And this jacket. For a steal, if I may add. HAH!

Actually, now that I think about it, I'm not sure why I don't have a seersucker anything in my closet all this time, I mean as an adult. hehe

What's more summer than seersucker, eh?

Pink and Red

Ever since I saw this picture of SJP, it just got stuck in my head, I guess.

Then I saw this too.

I figure, since it was still the week of Valentine, decided to wear this yesterday...

Tristan button-down shirt, BR knit vest,
AE jeggings, Aerosole boots (Winners)

But, I kinda' chickened out and toned it down a bit.

I tried, I really did! heehee

So, to make up for the covering, I thought I'd inject more color, as if I needed more, and made spring be felt as much as I could. HAH!

(The Bay)

Gotta love colors!!!

More White

In the last few years, never really been a fan of white sweaters/knits. Not sure why. I guess it feels like too much of a blank canvas, for lack of better words.

Tristan sweater (hand-me-down from other sis),
Gap jeans, Aerosole boots (Winners)
Not anymore. Thanks to other sis, I now have a couple. Which I like very much, surprisingly.

Not sure if I'll be that rarin' to go add to the collection. But as it is, I think I've found a new favorite:p

Snow Bunny

Literally! Well, not in a skiing kinda' way, but in a snow-y kinda' day. Hah!

Tristan sweater (hand-me-down from other sis),
AE jeans,
Patagonia boots (Winners)
The city got some snow today, that's for sure. But being Vancouver as it is, first came snow, then the sun came out, then some wet snow, then most of the snow melted, and now it's just cold:p

... did I just get photo bombed? again? ach!
Love the cozy feel of the sweater.

... and its interesting pattern...

Express turquoise necklace (from many moons ago)

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! NOT!!!

Comfort (and Warmth) is the Name of the Game

Can't believe vacay is almost over. Been seeing family and friends non-stop. Translation: eating non-stop. Hah!

So not only did I have to dress warmly, but also comfortably, to hide the caloric sins ingested in the last few days *sigh*

For when I met girlfriends for lunch...

Tristan sweater (hand-me-down from other sis),
Gap cord leggings,
Patagonia boots (Winners)
For when I met in-laws for lunch...

Gap sweater,
Rock & Republic jeans (gift from mom)
Bully Wool boots (hand-me-down from sis)

Comfy is comfy does:)

Yawn!

Some people dress up to brighten their mood. Feelin' a lil low, wear fuschia. I, on the other hand, happen to fall on the other end of the spectrum. When I'm feeling blah, I tend to look blah. BLAH! lol

Tristan blazer, Gap shorts
One small consolation, at least it's work appropriate. But then again, I think I'm always dressed appropriately for work... I think... relatively-speaking...

Tried to bling it up a bit with my rings. But they looked kinda' monochromatic too, eh, now that I'm seeing it again.

O well, at least I got through another day...
