Wear the (Summer) Rainbow

I figured since Skittles suggests to "taste the rainbow", I thought why not wear it...

First, I got this cardi thanks to a fave read.Then after having bought it, I realize I actually liked her entire look so I knew the moment I get a chance, I will do something similar.

Second, yes, it's a cover-up dress. That I wore to work! Is that so bad? (ah, ya-ah *shakes head*) BUT what I like, and want to point out, is that you couldn't tell (Or did I just convince myself that? Well, nobody said anything). It just looks like your normal summer dress. I know I've talked about how casual things are at work, but c'mon, even I have my limits. 

Could I have piled any more colors, you think?

Needless to say, this getup got a lot of comments. I think they were all good. Well, I take them to be good anyway. *grin* Strangely enough, the moment I stepped out of our place, I felt a bit self-conscious. Only for a second though. hehe As I started looking around, all I could see were figures of grays and whites and blacks and tans. For a brief moment, I wondered what happened to the colors. It is summer, people!

"Spring" Board

I guess I've been more tired than I thought lately. The last few days, every time I step out of our place, trying to decide what to wear, I'd just look into that closet and just stare at these pieces of clothing. That's it, just stare. It's happened before. When I'm exhausted, I get uninspired, surprise, surprise...

So, instead of posting an outfit, thought I'd post a sorta' wishlist, just sorta', for spring. Or, perhaps, something to inspire me, and carry me through til spring comes...

Well, at least it's February already, so I'm sure before I know it, spring'll be here. Yay!

Cobalt Blue, Meet Your Sister, Red

I'm normally not the type of person to buy clothes in multiples. For the most part, anyway, hehe...

But since my cobalt blue jeans have become such a go-to pair, as worn here, here, or here, among the many times I've worn 'em, I realized how much I like 'em (duh), so I figured, when the same style went on sale, why not get them in red too! HAH!

Really, the way I see it, I'm getting so much CPW out of the blue, I hope think know I will get the same out of the red.

My sister called this the nudie sweater. Well, it's skin tone color after all. Meh, I like it.

Fortunately, those are the only colors (outside the traditional) I like in them jeans. Otherwise, I would've been in real trouble had I liked them as well in pink, mauve, lilac, etc. Whew!

This reminds me of my university days, hangin' out with friends in some pub on a muggy summer day. I might not have rocked it as well as Reese Witherspoon did in this picture, but if I remember correctly, it was pretty close, HAH! Pffft!

I just find it fresh on the eye on a nice hot day. Mind you, today was not so hot (again! bah!). Anyway, using this as my spring board (with a twist, sorta')...

I'm not necessarily a big fan of Blake Lively's style, but I love the boldness here in the color combination. If I recall correctly, she doesnt' have a stylist. Or does she? Regardless, the most unlikely color combination in my head ended up looking fab on her.

Had to tweak it a "tad" for work, you know. Harhar! As I put this outfit on, it occurred to me that I may have more than one purple accessory. Nice surprise, although you probably cannot see it in the picture, is that it's as if my bracelet was made to go with my shoes. Yay! See, it doesn't take much to please me...

One thing I realized too is that I definitely need a new camera, or a new mirror, whichever cost less and will make me look thin magically hahahahaha
