Inverted Creamsicle

After the last 2 days of mostly black, thought I'd lighten the outfit mood a bit.

By the time I added all the accessories, I thought I looked like a creamsicle, only the vanilla center became the outside flavor. No?

Last 2 days were kinda' black, now kinda' white. Hmmm...

The day went by realllly fast. With all the stuff that's happened this week, especially considering this one (very) involved case I'm working on since Wednesday, I'm just saying Friday can't come fast enough. O wait, tomorrow is Friday already! Yikes!

One of the good things out of today, another co-worker and I got to do some (more) good deed after work.

It's not summer, just yet, so the thinner coat still had to come out...

... Thursday doesn't even count, it's Friday... I'm looking forward to... I think...

Somber Mood, Part 2

Without doing it on purpose, the outfit today is devoid of punch, again... somewhat...

Is this how I'm really feeling inside? Hmmm... how can I not even know? Or acknowledge it? Hmmm... Work must be getting to me more than I realized, I wanted, I thought...

Oh, and on top of that, looking at the pix, I just realized I looked like an inverted black tulip, or a black bell (with slightly thicker ringer thing-a-magig), brought on by my awesome posture. Didn't think I looked like that getting ready this morning. Just lovely! O well...

The flowers almost seems out of place, eh?

But I say there is always hope when there's leopard print and red bows somewhere... HAH!

Somber Mood

Looking at the pix just before posting, I realize how somber I looked today. Bah! (It probably wouldn't have looked that somber if the jeans didn't photograph so poorly... it's eggplant shade, I swear)

It's just as well, I suppose. Had a meeting which involved some serious business (only some, as I'm still wearing jeans after all). Which got cancelled anyway! Not because the involved parties didn't show up, but more like due to some mix-up and my presence was no longer required. So much for serious business. So much for the prep that I did too. Bah!

Funny enough, today's actually the first day, ever, this year that I didn't wear a coat. Which means only one thing, that we are finally getting some warm weather (I think, I hope). The opposite of somber, no?

I think I'm still recovering from the sleep deprivation (deprivation?!? such a strong word) from the weekend. *yawn*

4-Hour Sleep

Through no one's fault... actually, through our own doing, managed to only get 4 hours of sleep last night. Waaah! (Suck it up, you sissy you!)

Watched The Avengers last night and caught the last screening for the night, which meant we didn't get home til 1:30. Yikes! What were we thinking!

Then there I was in morning, at work, thinking I'd try to have as much as an easy day I can get away with. But no... So much for best laid plans...

So what does 4-hour sleep and a promise of a beautiful sunny day look like in an outfit? A myriad of colors, apparently. Compensating much?

The weekend could not have come fast enough, and fortunately, it did. Haven't been able to go to bed early all of last week so by Friday, I was kinda' pooped.

Today at work was kinda' weird. The day started out slow, not by choice (system went down), but for whatever reason, right after lunch, 15 things happened all at once. Made the afternoon went realllly fast, to say the least.

Berry Tired Girl

Must be a bug in the air. I know it's not just me. At the end of the day, looking at everybody's faces, they have the same look as I do. Tired.

Not really sure what I was going for here. When I was done getting ready this morning, I'm reminded of my grade school and high school years in uniform, but hit with a bucket of (gingham) paint. Hah!

My original thought was a bow tie, which I saw from her a while back, but since I didn't have one, I went for the next best thing. hehe

Ok, I think this is the most my tired brain can come up with...
